Rocking with my crew tonight for a quick set. Should be fun as always. Come thru if you get some time.
All I can say is no resolutions and its all about getting things done. First off, I just want to say that twitter message below:
….is the start of things for the new year. I have had the please to connect with Infinito 2017 (Joe Left Records/FatBeats Distro.) to work on an EP entitled The Square Pyramid. Not sure how soon it will drop but apparently it is being mixed down by the homie, Thaione Davis, in Chicago. The 5-track E.P. will hopefully be out in late Jan. All production by Kiza.
The 2nd second single from the Ardamus and C Royal album entitled “The Glass Is Half Full Of” will be dropping on 1/9/12 only on Beatport. And on 1/16/12, it will be worldwide. The details for the 3rd single are still being worked out. The album is looking to be released in late Feb.
I am currently 15 tracks deep into the new solo album “I Can’t Replace Me”. A big shout out to K-Murdock for hooking up the recording for this project. The songs are coming out crazy and very next level compared to what I was expecting.
So far, that whats going on for now. But I will come back with some more updates once the new singles and albums drop. Or if any other developments come about. But until then…..take care and peace.
First of all, get Jon Laine’s “GIANT”.

Support these projects, please. Got some great talent at work here. But for now, peace.
I more than likely should’ve brought this up earlier but I got a very last minute show with the ever so talented Nikki Jean. I can’t sing worth a damn but being able to share the stage with one of my college mates is definitely a good feeling. Haven’t heard her? Check her out.
After the long delay…..it is finally here:

ARDAPLUS – “A FISTFULL OF PLUTONIUM
Completed in 2009, here is the album by the duo, ARDAPLUS. A mixture of experimental/trip hop music that blend with tough deliveries and hardcore sounds were in the making for a while since 2006 when the duo decided to work on a project from participating in cyphers at the Tru Skool cyphers at Capital City Records. Hard copies coming soon.
\"Are You Serious?\" by Night Train (prod. by Ardamus)
I had to tell Night Train, that chick who didn’t need any help and that chick that offered you sex both had thick mustaches. And I told him I wouldn’t have dealt with those situations and he’s a better man than I am. LOL. This is a track from his album coming up called “Electric Hot Sauce” that I’ve done a majority of the production for. A talented emcee/vocalist/graphic designer, he is a damn good artist. Check him at the following websites:

Soooooo……..
After a brotha graduated from grad school (yes, I know….thanks), I’ve been hard at work trying to stack some more money and make sure I get some of this music out of the way. First of all, thanks to the homie Night Train, there will finally be a cover for the ARDAPLUS project “A Fistfull Of Plutonium”. The covers for the singles and the album from the Ardamus & C Royal album, “The Glass Is Half Full Of…” is currently being worked on one of my best friends, T. Biddy. For his artwork, check him out: www.terrybiddle.com.
Finally after much contact and getting the business together, I have been able to start recording my next solo album, “I Can’t Replace Me” with producer/engineer, K-Murdock or Panacea. Its been years since we’ve known each other and we are to collaborate on this project for a quality. Support this brotha if you see him on tour near you coming this fall with his homie, Mega-Ran. For more info. on K-Murdock, check out: Neosonic Productions.
And in addition to these projects, as well the FAR EXP stuff (FAR EXP BANDCAMP), I am currently working on a project with trip hop producer, Jenova 7 (JENOVA 7 BANDCAMP). We’re calling our group Diegetics (DIEGETICS BANDCAMP) and working on an album entitled “The Editing Room”. I have to say, its been an honor to work with this kid. Very talented brotha if I do say so myself. Jenova 7 has already hooked it up with the album cover, too.
As for shows, I have show at Touchdown (1334 U St NW) with host Martin Figueroa-Ramirez of RŌM Sneakers, and DJ Shade this Thursday, a party showcasing local art and hip hop. Shoutouts to the homie Kareem for making that happen. On August 29th, I have the please of performing with Fake Four Inc.’s own Ceschi Ramos whom I’ve known for years at Velvet Lounge. Shoutouts to Watusi Cultleader for making this happen. Also on the bill will be FAR EXP, Nick Tha 1da, and Black Sun.
Looking forward to more shows in the fall once more details come up. More to come…….
Yeah, its been a minute but I will catch everyone up to speed about whats been going on.
1. First of all, I had a show with Beans from Anti-Pop Consortium at DC9. It wasn’t bad. Not as many people expected showed up but I had fun with some of my friends there and also, we did a special edition of the FAR EXPERIMENT (Flex Mathews, Fleetwood, Ardamus, RNL). Which was fun. RNL was in Amsterdam with the homie, Heron Gibran, making some moves.
2. Speaking of Amsterdam, I ended up there on May 10th until the 15th. Because of the show with Beans, I missed a chance to perform there. Which sucks but, I was able to connect with a group of guys by the name of Controverse Music. Vocalists Big Boy Caprice and Omar Solaiye (I might’ve spelled his name wrong but he was cool peoples) are two of the cats I got to build with. Calmplexx, one of the illest emcees over there definitely helped us out with open arms. And I can’t forget the talented, Reinier, who I met for the first time and instantly recorded with. And I go to meet the emcee from La Melodia, Melodee, who I connected with on her music. They got some dope stuff: lamelodia.bandcamp.com. Shoutouts to RNL and Heron Gibran for inviting on that trip. Next time, I will make sure that I am able to perform over there.
3. The album with C Royal, “The Glass Is Half Full Of….” is now complete. However, we are in negotiations with Shotgun Daisy Records to distribute 3 of the singles digitally. The same label is releasing Joey Beats & Blak Lungz’s material so, this is probably one of the biggest deals I’ve gotten to do music. Shoutouts to Blak Lungz for making this happen and shoutouts to C Royal (actually after this it will be Scottie Royal) for coming up with the idea for this album.
4. Downloads of the music will be up for download soon in a particular section. Apart from the merch store. We’re almost out of shirts but more are getting repressed along with a newer design. Stay tuned.
5. There’s other stuff coming up but not everything is set in stone. The FAR EXPERIMENT stuff is still on its way. ARDAPLUS will be available for free download; shoutouts to Double Plus and his move to Portland, OR. and agreeing to have up for download because of the time constraints.
6. I will start recording for “I Can’t Replace Me” in the middle of June. K-Murdock from Panacea will be helping out. Not sure when the whole project will be finished but by the end of the year, this album should finally see the light of day. And some very special guests and producers will be on it.
With that said, more updates are coming soon so keep an eye out. Peace.
The homie from the UK, SciFi Stu, is putting me on his new project. We’re gonna get some ideas going first but a big shoutout to this kid for hitting me up. I feel real honored that he would do that. Dope producer that people need to support as well.
Its crazy to know how long its been since I rocked with these cats on a night like this. When the scene was not as poppin’ as it was now, we had this open mic called Tru Skool. Went to a few places in the city uptown but the most popular spot was Cap City Records. It was real dope and a lot of folks shout it out to this day. Shoutouts to DJ Underdog, Damu The Fudgemonk, DJ Earth One, and Enoch 7th Prophet for putting this together. It will be good to rock with old friends and family again.
And here’s track I really liked from my mixtape, When Everything Goes Wrong 2.0:
Randomness (prod. by Yosef Una) by Ardamus
For listening pleasure……
